Jeffrey C. Adam

Jeffrey C. Adam has been a member of the Board of Directors of the SFNY since it's inception. He is currently Vice Commodore of the Ida Lewis Yacht Club in Newport, RI. Mr. Adam is a Certified Public Accountant and is a principal in Adam Advisory Services, LLC. He is an avid sailor, fleet racing an International 110 named Sugar Magnolia and team racing with the New York Yacht Club and the Ida Lewis Yacht Club. Mr. Adam resides with his wife and two children in Newport, RI.
Dean M. Brenner

Dean M. Brenner is currently serving his second four-year term as the Chairman of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Sailing Program. In that role, Dean is responsible for leading the coaches, staff and volunteers that support our Olympic and Paralympic Sailing Teams. From 1994 to 2000, Dean trained for the US Olympic Sailing Team, and finished 2nd at the 2000 US Olympic Trials. Dean is a seven-time national champion, has won five international team racing championships and was a member of the US National Sailing Team for three years. I n addition to his role as Chairman of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Sailing Program, Dean is the President and founder of The Latimer Group. He resides in Wallingford, CT with his wife, Emily and son, Zach.

George Hinman, Jr.
George Hinman is a past Commodore of the NYYC. He was a former President of YRA of LIS. He has been on the Board of the Naval Academy Sailing Association, American Yacht Club and the STYC. He has been active in the Farr 40 Class and the newly formed NYYC One Design 42. He lives in Greenwich with his wife Emilie.

George M. Isdale, Jr. is a past Commodore of both the New York Yacht Club and the American Yacht Club. He has served in numerous volunteer positions in marine related causes and is currently a Vice President of the Seaman's Church Institute of New York and the Treasurer of the International Yacht Restoration School. Mr. Isdale is a Financial Advisor with UBS Securities and has been involved in financial asset management and planning for over 35 years. Affectionately known as Dooie, he resides with his wife Candy in Greenwich, CT.
Brad Read

Brad Read is the Executive Director of Sail Newport, a non profit public sailing center dedicated to public access to sailing and racing programs. Brad is a former 470 sailor from the 80's and competed in worldwide 470 events from 1985-1987. A Sailmaker for 12 years, Brad continues to sail at a high level in various one design and big boat classes. Sail Newport continues to promote excellence in Youth Sailing through the Brooke Gonzalez Advanced Racing Clinic, which, like the CISA clinic, brings the countries best youth sailors together to receive coaching from the best coaches from around the World. Brad and his wife Cara have 2 children, Brendan (10) and Rebecca (8). Brad was the 1986 College Sailor of the year, winner of 3 J/24 World Championships and was a finalist for the 2000 Rolex Yachtsman of the Year.

Thomas L. Stark has been a member of the Board of Directors of the SFNY since it's inception and has served as President since 2003. Mr. Stark is the Chairman of Porta-Brace, Inc. and is an independent real estate investor. He is an avid sailor, racing a series of yachts called RUSH. Mr. Stark resides with his wife and two children in Riverside, CT.
